Below is the application you are going to need to use to be able to play here in Elysium. Please fill it out in its entirety, and e-mail it to elysium.roleplay[at]gmail.com. If you have any questions, please contact the mods.

Our turn-around time for submitting apps and getting a response is, at most, 48 hours. Keep in mind, however, that this does not apply if there are two applications for the same character. Also, please make an effort into doing your app. This means no copy/pasting info from Wikipedia or any other website because the mods actually do look at all applications. If any app has been found to do this, the mods will ask that you rewrite your entire application.

Mun info ~

Name/alias: something to call you so we know what to call you :D

mun aim: if you have one (and we hope you do) if we have any questions about your app

timezone/location: just so we know generally where you are

age: just to make sure you're ready for something this big (not like, yanno, some 8 year old that should be in school and not playing with us :D)

where you heard of us: this is purely out of curiousity

current characters: who you currently play, if you're already a member.

char info ~

name: full name plz, if your char does not have a last name, don't give them one :D

fandom: what series they came from

picture: give us a URL or something small so we know what your char looks like

reason: why do you want to play this character?

brief history: just enough to tell us you know about your character. pretend we don't know the character. the more concise, the better.

personality: tell us what your character is like. again, pretend we don't know the series. the more concise the better.

magic/abilities: what magical abilities your char had in the series they are in

weapons: see above. to some characters, both magic and weapons might apply. to some, just one. to some, neither of them.

log samples ~

3rd person sample: the stuff that goes in logs, like the Elysium main comm. make it at least 100 words.

1st person sample: the stuff that goes in your character's journal. remember, this is in-character.

NOTE: 3rd person samples are written like stories, like a monologue. Actions, words, etc. This is to see that you can portray the characters idiosyncracies, habits, and tendencies, as well as if you can write coherent sentences.

1st person is not a monologue from the 1st person perspective. It is written as if the character him/herself is writing in his/her journal. Example of a 1st person entry.

Also note that we may return your app to you, requesting a more in-depth sample. We want to make sure you have a handle on the character. But don't let that scare you. We're friendly people. We roleplay too.
