General FAQ

q1) Can we app for an original/created character?

a1) DENIED.

q2) Do you really accept any character from any series?

a2) Well, we'd like to think so, but there are just some series that just won't work here. The following series are not acceptable here:

• Bo-BoBo .....
• Cutie Honey
• La Blue Girl
• Any Hentai series

q3) What if I want to play a dead character?

a3) The character would obviously be alive, but wouldn't have any memories of dying. The muse would only remember up to before the death. Other characters are more than welcome to inform the muse that s/he died.

q4) What if the dub names and original names are different?

a4) Use the original Japanese name. The only exception is Pokémon. If there is a descrepancy in the spelling, the mods will decide which one to use.

q5) Can characters have pets?

a5) Yes, small pets must be no more than than 50 lbs (23 kg) in weight and 42 inches (107 cm) in height. Any magical pets will lose their magic/weaponry. Pokemon are allowed, but have no attacks. Pets MUST be taken care of humanely, else the Captain will revoke said pet. See the Captain's announcement for full information.

q6) I want to apply for the main character from this series, BELIEVE IT

a6) You may apply for any character from any series. But, be aware that main characters will be scrutinized more than a random side character. Also, main characters applications may be sent to other players from that series to obtain their opinions on it (After all, their characters will be dealing with the main character the most.)

q7) What about Korean manga (manhwa)?

a7) Well as long as we can find information about it, sure! For now, keep to ones which have been translated into English either by scanlations or professionally.

Series Specific FAQ

Bleach

q1) Can we play Shinigami?

a1) Of course you can. The only catch is that they have absolutely no powers and weapons, and they don't need to worry about gigai.

Death Note

q1) Do Death Notes exist here?

a1) Nope, that counts as a weapon and is taken away upon entry.

q2) Can I play a shinigami?

a2) Nope. Can't play magical creatures. This may be changed later.

q3) What about shinigami eyes?

a3) Returned to normal eyes as they're considered a magical ability 

Fruits Basket

q1) Will the Soumas still transform?

a1) The answer is No. Didn't they come to Elysium for salvation?

Katekyou Hitman Reborn

q1) Can I play one of the Arcobaleno?

a1) The jury's still out. We may or may not allow Arcobaleno or the other baby characters.

Sailor Moon

q1) Will they be able to transform?

a1) Again, the answer is No. They won't need it here.

q2) What about playing the animamates, shittenou, or other non-human bad guys?

a2) Yup, you can play them. They just won't have their magic or weapons.

q3) Can I play one of the cats?

a3) nope. Can't play magical creatures. This may change later.

Slayers

q1) Can I play a Mazoku?

a1) Yup, they'll just take on their most recognizeable form and have no magic/weapons. Mind you, there are some which we won't allow due to too much spoilers or too powerful.

Tokyo Mew Mew

q1) Their powers are linked genetically. How does that work?

a1) The genetic link hasn't changed. For example, Ichigo will still sprout ears and a tail when nervous. However, they cannot transform into MewMew form or use any Mew powers.

Wolf's Rain

q1) Wolf's Rain: Will Toboe, Tsume, Kiba, Hige, and Blue be able to transform into wolves?

a1) The answer is No. Didn't they come to Elysium for salvation?

q2) Wolf's Rain: Because they have found paradise, how will the wolves be played?

a2) Get back to us on that :D

Yu-Gi-Oh!

q1) Yugioh: What about the dark and light forms?

a1) The yami (dark) and omote (outer/light) are now separate characters

and both can be played, just not by the same mun. Malik is the only acception because his yami was his darker half.

q2) Are the Millenium Items allowed?

a2) Nope. They were destroyed, remember?

q3) What about GX characters?

a3) GX characters are allowed, but they will be played on the GX timeline. Characters from the original series will be played on the original timeline and won't know of the events of GX

q4) What about 5Ds?

a4) Not yet. The series is new. Wait until it's either a few seasons in or has finished.
